From Founder
I began shaping this vision in my late twenties while completing my postgraduate qualification in Arts (Psychology), and it truly came to life when I turned thirty. That period marked a turning point for me a time to begin something meaningful and leave behind the noise of earlier chapters in life.
I want to sincerely thank you for being part of Anaya’s journey so far. I created this space not purely as a business, but as a place to help people reconnect with who they truly are. At Anaya, we take pride in what we do. Our approach is grounded in psychological understanding and enriched by ancient wisdom.
Having grown up in a hybrid cultural environment, I came to understand that not everyone fits neatly into a single framework. Through both lived experience and psychological study, I learned that no single method or theory applies equally to every individual. Each person’s cultural background, upbringing, and life experiences shape who they are. Because of this, support and understanding must be tailored. Ultimately, only you can truly know who you are and what you need.
I know I am not alone in having this kind of journey, but I am committed to bringing this work into the modern, fast-paced world in a more thoughtful and intentional way.
I also care deeply about our wider environment. Anaya exists in connection with our planet and the cultures within it. We aim to contribute, in part, to mental health initiatives, environmental efforts, and cultural preservation in the countries we engage with. Anaya also aimed to empowers local artisans through our seasonal limited edition products.
I am based between Bali, Australia, and New Zealand, and I continuously research trends in the field of psychology in general manners. My academic background includes a bachelor’s degree in business, followed by a Graduate Diploma in Arts (Psychology) and a Postgraduate Diploma in the same field from Massey University. I am also a certified Yoga Teacher (YTT 200).
Warm regards
